Troubleshooting

Video Displays Black Screen Only: When you play the photo story video (show) in Windows Media Player, you can see the timer counting up, and you can hear the audio, but the picture stays black the whole time. Solution:

In Windows Media Player:
1. In Media Player 7 or later, select Tools > Options > Performance tab. If you don't see this, you may need to do the following instead:
Point your mouse into the upper banner of Windows Media Player (to the right of the Rip/Burn/Sync/Guide tabs.
Right click to get a menu where you can choose Tools > Options
2. Click and drag the Hardware Acceleration slider to the left, changing the setting from Full to None.
If you don't see that, you may need to find Video Acceleration slide and change it instead. Set it to None.

You may get a message about having to stop the currently running show to make this change. Click OK.
